These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Bedrock Analytics, LLC ("Bedrock," "we," "us," or "our"). They explain the rules for using our relationship analysis service.
By using Bedrock, you agree to these Terms and our [Privacy Policy]. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.

Bedrock is an AI-powered tool that analyzes text message patterns. It's designed to help you reflect on communication dynamics in your relationships.
Bedrock is NOT:
The reality of AI: Our analysis is generated by artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes, miss context, or misinterpret situations. You should never make major life decisions based solely on what Bedrock tells you.
If you're in danger: Please contact emergency services (911) or the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233). Bedrock cannot help in a crisis.
You can use Bedrock with your own API key from Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI.
You can create an account and purchase credits to use our service.
To use credits, you need an account. When you sign up:
You can delete your account anytime through the app. When you do:
All credit purchases are final. We don't offer refunds except where required by law. Please start with a smaller pack if you're trying the service for the first time. You can upload your text history to see exactly how many credits you will need, before you purchase credits. Your message history remains on your computer until you start analysis.
We use Stripe to process payments. We never see or store your credit card information. Your payment is also subject to Stripe's terms of service.
You own everything you upload and everything Bedrock generates for you:
We don't claim any ownership of your content.
We only use your data to provide the service — specifically, to send it to the AI for analysis and return the results to you. We do not use your data to train AI models.
We may collect anonymized, aggregated data about how the service is used (like "X analyses were run this month"). This data cannot identify you or reveal your content.
Before uploading conversations, consider redacting names and identifying details. While we protect your data, minimizing sensitive information is always a good practice.
Bedrock is provided "as is." We can't guarantee that:
AI technology has real limitations. It can produce incorrect, misleading, or even nonsensical results. Use your own judgment.
If something goes wrong, our maximum liability to you is limited to whichever is greater:
We're not liable for indirect damages like lost profits, emotional distress, or decisions you make based on our analysis.
You agree to take responsibility for how you use Bedrock and any actions you take (or don't take) based on the analysis. If someone brings a legal claim against us because of your use of Bedrock, you agree to cover our costs and damages.
Stop using Bedrock whenever you want. Delete your account through the app.
We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. If we do, you won't be entitled to a refund of unused credits.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app. Continuing to use Bedrock after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and Bedrock regarding the service.
